About the ATP

The Saudi Mining Polytechnic (SMP) was established in 2012 as a strategic partnership between the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) and the Technical & Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). SMP operates as a not-for-profit organization with its own independent entity.

As the sole institute in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia dedicated to training for the mining industry, SMP plays a vital role in preparing young Saudi professionals to meet the workforce demands of this sector. Its efforts align closely with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, supporting sustainable development and economic growth.
